Mr. Yan, Ung Kuoc Iang is a Macau-born music producer and composer. He began participating in the creation and arrangement of the pop songs, commercial soundtracks, and film soundtracks in Hong Kong in the 1990s. He has written more than a hundred pop songs and published by many record companies such as the PolyGram, Universal Music, Emperor Entertainment, and Go East Entertainment.

Mr. Yan Ung is currently the member of the board of directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Macau Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers (MACA). In 2009, with the support of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), he established MACA together with a group of Macau musicians. Having the slogan “Respect Copyright, Enjoy Music Life”, MACA is committed to raise the awareness of music copyright in Macau, and is actively organizing various types of musical events, setting up music scholarships, giving opportunities to the potential music students, and striving to promote the musical and cultural development in Macau.
