João Eduardo Larcher Kruss Gomes, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Macau Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers (MACA), which is a member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC).

João Kruss Gomes is a Portuguese, Macau resident since 1989. João holds Bachelor of Laws and Master of Business Administration degrees. João registered Lawyer at the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados) and registered Lawyer in Macau SAR, China (AAM), with main specialties including Gaming Law, Commercial Law, Company Law, Insurance, Tourism and Hotel Industry Law, Labour Law, Commercial Litigation, Administrative Law, Intellectual property, Criminal Law. João has been working in the Legal field as a Lawyer and Legal Advisor, also with legal works published at Macau University Bulletin and Asia Gaming Lawyer Magazine.

Apart from the legal background, João also has a great passion for music, and he already composed more than 50 songs with lyrics in English and Portuguese. The world of music composition is his passion and continuing to compose new songs is a must for his happiness.
